Everything in Costa Rica Intelligence is written by our editorial team of travel designers. Where a fact could change, we say where it comes from — or we do not publish it.

What we verify
- Geography, protected-area names and the relationships between places.
- Destination attributes, which are the same data our Journey Engine matches against.
- The order and pacing of routes, which come from how we actually design journeys.

What we never invent
- Prices, availability, rates and inclusions.
- Exact drive or flight times, opening hours, fees and permits.
- Entry requirements, visa or insurance rules.
- Awards, rankings, statistics, testimonials and review scores.
- Weather figures — we describe season character instead.

How a piece is published
- Draft, then research with sources, then editorial review, then localisation per market.
- Published only when nothing unverified is presented as certainty.
- Provisional pieces are labelled as editorial drafts on the page itself.
- AI assists drafting and structure; it never publishes and never sources facts.
